| Posted inJohnny ‘Lightning’ Mustered has been more then a race car driver with Vintage Modified Racing Association; he has volunteered as the club promoter, as-well-as, been nominated for board vice president several different years through out his club affiliation. So first off, thank you John for all your years of dedication to VMRA. Being a volunteer is not an easy position at times, but a position that is gratifying most of the time. You are doing a great job Johnny Lightning so keep up the fantastic work.
Not only taking home the 5th place trophy, with a total of 619-season points, the 26-car made it to every race and won a heat race. John began racing with VMRA in 2005 and was quoted saying as to why he races with this class, “Awesome Club, Biggest bang for your buck.”
Congratulations to team 26 for a great season.
Johns car is a 1937 Studebaker with a 350 engine built by Chuck Peterson. John began racing in 2004 with the Hobby Stocks. Looking forward to another fantastic season in 2016.
