| Posted inWhat a night of racing! Johnny ‘Lightning’ Mustered started in the 3rd position, on the pole, and worked his way through the cars to take home the 1st place-checkered flag-Main Event Trophy Sunday night at Evergreen Speedway. Evergreen Speedway seems to be ‘Lightnings’ track. He has had win after win at Evergreen Speedway. A night of victory for John and the 26-team at this Memorial Day race, he announced that this win is for his dad, who would come and watch John race; along with his Uncle. John Mustered, Sr. passed away in 2015.
During John’s interview he spoke of his father, who would come out and watch him race. John announced that this win, this trophy, is in honor of his father. In loving memory of John Mustered, Sr. Congratulations John!
This main event win is one of many more to come through out the 2016 racing season.
Dawn Huntley in the 59-car won the B-Heat race and Robert Rux in the 88-car won the A-Heat race. Unfortunately both cars had troubles in the Main Event and had to pull off the track. Congratulations too both Huntley and Rux for their Heat race wins and best wishes for the next Main Event in Yakima Speedway on June 18th.
