| Posted inIt was a fantastic night of racing for the 32 team, taking home two trophies. Charlie West, Jr. won the Trophy Dash, as well as, the 35 lap Main Event. This was a night long over due for the 32 team. They have had their fair share of breakdowns during this short season, but Charlie came out fast and furious at the Wenatchee Valley’s Super Oval Speedway.
May 25th, at Evergreen Speedway in Monroe during the first practice session the 32 car exploded a transmission. With the help of fellow drivers, another transmission was installed.
Then during the next session the 32 car broke a rear link mount, forcing the car to be parked for the night.
June 8th, at South Sound Speedway in Tenino, the 32 car had transmission problems again, and sat out another main event.
These two trophy wins are a huge success story for the 32 team. Congratulations Charlie West, driver and Leonard Schmidt, owner of the 32 car.
The 32 car is a 1932 Studebaker with a 35 Chevy engine built by Chuck Peterson, who also races with the Vintage driving the 23 car.
