Vern Huson in the 77-car had the lead in the Main Event Saturday night and just kept going until he took the checkered flag and trophy. It was a very exciting night for the 77-team.  It was Vern’s first Main Event win with Vintage Modifieds.  Congratulations Vern!

Vern began racing in 1964  with the A-A Class at Spanaway Speedway.  He joined Vintage Modified Racing Association in 2015; however, this is his first full racing season with VMRA.

He races in a 1939 Chevy Coupe.
