Congratulations Devin and team, taking home the 1st place trophy, Saturday night – July 18th, from Spokane County Raceway. What a night for the 6-team.  Their pit was filled with excitement and a lot of hand shaking and back slapping.  Devin got into a great position and just took off.  He owned the track in the Main Event.  A win well deserved!  Not only that but Devin now holds the track record at Spokane County Raceway (for VMRA) with the best time in of 20.410. Can we all say WOW?  Devin came in 4th during the Heat race, I think he took his time to connect car and track for the Main Event. Devin Eirman and the 6-team, congrats!

What a fun night of racing considering this was our first race at Spokane County Raceway.  Kyten Jones in the 30-car came in 2nd during the Main Event and the Heat race, 1st in the Trophy Dash.  Bobby Wheeler, Jr. in the 22-car took 3rd in the Main Event and 5th in the Heat race.  Robert Rux in the 88-car took 1st in the Heat race and 4th in the Main event. Mike Clother in the 7-car took 5th in the Main event and 3rd in the Heat. Dave Trapp in the 51-car took 6th in the Main and 7th in the Heat. Bill Brewer in the 04-car took 7th in the Main and 8th in the Heat.  Arron Clother took 8th in the Main, driving the 54-car.  Aaron ran into some bad luck in the beginning, blew his tranny during the time-ins, but being determined the 54-team ran for parts and fixed the tranny in time for the Main Event.  Sadly enough, the 4-team, Glenn Forcier blew his engine just as the time trials began.

Thank you to all the teams that came out and raced at Spokane County Raceway.

Bobby Wheeler, Jr. in the 22-car took home the 3rd place trophy in the Main Event. Handing off the trophy to young Christian, a new fan of the Vintage teams, making Christian the 3rd place winner in the Main Event. Way too go Bobby, what a wonderful act of kindness making Christians first night of watching the Vintage Modifieds race an experience he will never forget.

What an exciting night for the 04-team when they were asked to drive their 1998 Mustang Convertible as the leader car for the Trophy Dash, for each class.  Good times for the driver Nicole the passenger Hilary.  Looking good lovely ladies!
