| Posted inJeff Peterson, driving the #32 car, took home first place in the heat race, the trophy dash and the main event. He was just smoking on Saturday, September 11th, at the Wenatchee Valley Super Oval. Making a clean sweep and taking home three 1st place wins and two 1st place trophies.
Coming in second place for the main event was Bobby Wheeler, JR. driving car #22.
Chuck Peterson in car #23 came in third place for the main event.
It was a fun night for our young racing fans. The WVSO fun bus brought an excited bunch of kids through the pits to see how the crews work in the pits, meet the drivers and get post cards, posters and pins.
After their cruise through the pits the bus takes the kids for a couple laps around the track.
The fun just gets better for the fans as the track is open up for meet and greet. The fans have an opportunity to talk to the drivers, sit in the cars and get autographs. VMRA hands out posters and some of the drivers hand out post cards and pins of their cars. The fans of all ages have a great time.
We have one race left for the 2010 season, September 25th at South Sound Speedway. See everyone there for one last great night of racing for this season.
