With the threat of rain hovering over the track on Saturday at South Sound Speedway (SSS), the Vintage fans still came out to watch the race. The Vintage drivers gave the crowd a great show. The rain held off and the Vintage drivers hit the track for a 30-lap main event. The lead changed position a few times, but Kevin Rinkel took home the Main Event trophy on Saturday.

Congratulations Kevin, you gave a great show for the fans and deserved your trophy on Saturday night.

Kevin gave a brief interview after his exciting win and then took his trophy back to the pits for a celebration.

Kevin’s Vintage is a 1947 Ford Sedan and is known as the ‘Bionic Banana’.
