More Trophy Winners for 2014

Devin Eierman driving the 6-car came out this year fast and furious.  Determined with his team, too end 2014 as the champion, ran into problems and troubles with no end in sight.  Being the sportsman that he is, Devin still managed to make it to the next race, in-spite of complications from the previous event.

Devin ended the season with 413 points and took home the 8th place trophy.  He is a veteran racer who had a tough start to 2014. He will definitely be a contender this year.  It seemed like every time this team showed up to race they were on the trailer before time trials.  They were fast but just did not get the right break.  It was nearly unanimous this year, Devin and his team were voted and awarded the “Hard Luck Award”.

Pictured below is Devin and his very proud mom, Mrs. Eierman.

Scott Rinkel driving the 63-car came in 9th place with 308 points. It was Scotts 2nd year racing with Vintage Modifieds, who might have finished much higher in the standing had he not left in August to attend College.  Best wishes to you Scott and we all send our best to you as you enjoy the time of life in College.

Cheater Dave Trapp in the 51-car took home 10th place.  Dave ended the season with 198 points.  Dave is a founding member of Vintage Modified and has been involved with racing for 28-years.  Dave is highly regarded among his peers and it is always fun seeing Dave give ’em hell on the track.
