Robby Cartwright driving the 40-car is new to Vintage Modified Racing Association this year, he is 1 of 3 new rookies racing.

Robby gave his wife and the crowd a scare they’ve never witnessed before with the Vintage Modifieds, he rolled and flipped his car two and a half times.  And this was during time trials.  The good news, he walked away unharmed.  The 40-car, however, is a different story.  Well here is one picture before and several pictures after the wreck.

Attention race fans, Robby made history with Vintage Modifieds! Never before had one of these beautiful cars ever turned, flipped and rolled!

On a lighter note, the board will be handing out the ballots at the last race to vote for the following categories:  Most Improved Driver, Best Appearing Car, Sportsman of the Year, Most Inspirational Person (non-driver) and the Hard Luck Award.  Members, if you cannot make it to the last race contact one of the board members with your vote either by eMail or phone call.  The last day to vote is September 17th.  Awards will be handed out at the 2013 Season End Banquet.
