Saturday 18th – Wenatchee Valley Super Oval – 1st / 2nd / 3rd place Main Event

Posted by | Posted in General | Posted on 19-05-2019

First night of racing at Wenatchee Valley Super Oval brought out ten cars. Competition was on the track and great night of racing. Our Vintage cars gave the fans a fun race and just the beginning of fantastic 2019 season in the making.  If you weren’t able to attend the race, just CLICK HERE for a posted YouTube video of the Main Event. Enjoy.

Our 2019 rookie, Steve Woods, came across the checkered flag finish-line in 1st place.  As luck would have it, being on his side, he also took 1st place in the A-Heat/Trophy race. Congratulations to Steve Woods and the 22-team.

We would like to acknowledge and thank the 22-car sponsors. Thank you, First Day Electric, Gig Harbor Copy & Mail and Travel by Cathy.  A special thank you to  Rick Villyard, John Woods and Becca Woods for all of your support.

Kyten Jones in the 30-car took home the 2nd place trophy for the Main Event and as if that wasn’t exciting enough, Kyten set the fastest time for the evening.  Kyten has been part of Vintage Modified’s racing family for years, growing-up in a family of racing he carries on tradition. Keep an eye on this young man, he’s off to a great start. Congratulations Kyten!
