| Posted inCongratulations Robert Rux for this exciting day of racing and winning the Heat Race and the Main Event at Wenatchee Valley Super Oval (WVSO) on Saturday, May 7th.
Robert moved from 6th place to 4th place, positioning him with 162 in points.
Robert Rux had a long streak of hard ships, being awarded the ‘Hard Luck’ award for 3-years in a row. These 2-wins didn’t come easy for the 88 team. So a big congratulations to Les Yeager (part owner and crew chief) and Robert Rux (part owner and driver) for this awesome day of racing at WVSO.
Robert came out this year with a new paint job, stickers and lettering on his 1937 Ford Vintage.
A fresh start for the 88 team.
Robert Rux began racing in 1984, racing with the Compact class. He came to Vintage Modified in 2000.
Thank you to all the sponsors, family, friends and fans.
VMRA next race will be at South Sound Speedway, Tenino on May 21st.
