| Posted inIt is time for car #75, driver and owner, Bob Fulmer to shine with his 3rd place trophy win for season 2008. Bob set fast time twice this season and was a main event winner at South Sound Speedway on April 26th. Bob came in 3rd place this season with 1574 total season points. Wow, what a close season between drivers. Barely behind 2nd place by only 4-points, that was close. But that is racing folks. Bob Fulmer is an upright guy. Anytime anyone has car problems Bob is one of the first to offer parts and help. He loves to race, he loves to take home the trophy, but he also likes to compete and doesn’t mind at all helping to keep the car count on the track for every race.
Bob started racing in 1959, first car class were go karts. His first year with VMRA was 2007 because it looked like a fun class to run with. Mid season, this year 2008, Bob was in 1st place.
Bob’s car is a 1946 Merc. He built the car himself. Thank you to his crew chief, Bobby Monroe, who is a tremendous help to Bob in the pits. His lovely wife, Phyllis, is his greatest fan. Always supports Bob from the pits and in the stands. Without the support of the spouses we just couldn’t race.
We’d like to thank and recognize Bob’s sponsors, without the financial support of our sponsors there wouldn’t be racing. So a great big thank you too Britco Racing Engines, All in One Rentals, Interstate Steel, AA Auto Parts and Big Mountain Web Design. For more information about the sponsors go to our Tracks & Sponsor page, or check out our Drivers Bios.
Congratulations Bob for a great season. See you on the track in 2009.
